Pour Out Zone recently saw a video on Youtube titled “Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo” by “Miracle Lens” . A funny, satirical video on Old Age Homes.
The video slowly focuses on a man who is getting ready. The man later walks down to the living room where everyone are present to Dance!! Yes, absolutely, dance in his own style to the iconic item song, “Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo” while it shows him and his granddaughter having fun, there is an indirect sarcastic comment which changes the whole meaning.
“What more will they have to do to ENTERTAIN YOU?”
While we are getting more trendy, accessing to latest technology, more global we are leaving behind our footsteps. We are leaving those who taught us to walk, speak. Old age homes are no longer a taboo. The burden of old, smelly, forgetful person is better left to these homes, they say.
According to information made available by the Government Home for the Aged, Kollam, there has been a 69 per cent increase in the number of residents of old-age homes over the past four years.
Just because they are annoying, forgetful, keep on repeating 10 things in a minute means they need to be thrown out. They need you, even when they are smelly. Even after you fight, mom’s will still be telling the other oldies, that her children are best.
After 30 or more years of showing you the true meaning of unconditional love, do they still need to entertain you, so that you will keep them?
Here is where you can see the video:
